When one is admitted to a college or a university, he is expected to keep up with all the related tasks, activities and happenings. The primary concerns of students are to study, learn and accomplish all the projects, coursework and papers as assigned by their respective professors and instructors.

While doing all these, students, however, should not take for granted one very important thing – their health. Why? It is because their bodies are their main capital for their studies. Without a healthy body, it would be much harder for a student to keep up with everyday activities in school. It would also be much harder for a student to burn the midnight candle without having a healthy body. He or she would eventually succumb to sickness brought by fatigue. Why Many Students Cannot Write Quality Health Essays

University professors teaching health or related subjects have been assigning their students to write essays for two main reasons – to train them and to assess them. Students, on the other hand, are expected to write and submit quality health essays that are easy to read and understand. But it is sad to disclose that still many students could not write quality essays. Even if they are already in the university, these students still could not compose quality health essays. Why is that so?

Composing a quality health essay might sound easy, but in actuality, it could be hard to do, especially due to some very common reasons. One of these reasons is that some university students still do not know the value to following instructions. It may be hard for them to follow instructions as given by their professors as they may want to write their essays using their own rules and methods. As a result, their health essays do not conform to the quality expected by their professors. Instructions tell how a student should proceed in his essay writing task, providing him with a set of directions that basically outline what he should and what he should not do. If a student does not know how to follow instructions, then he would be able to compose quality health essays.

Writing an essay is not a piece of cake. It involves a wide array of skills – from research to analysis. It reinforces the resourceful trait the students have. In fact, the more comfortable a student is of using his creative gut, the higher the advantage he has over any coursework.

But what if you get to add another task in the picture? Instead of responding to a prompt, or instructions, what if students are required to come up with their own topics?

Certainly, that would generate a breath of relief among various students. Being able to choose your own topic, specifically, your health essay topic means control. If you want to work on an easier topic, you evidently, have the freedom to do so.

However, an easy topic is not necessarily a good source for outstanding marks. Those easy sorts are more likely to yield passing marks. This does not necessarily mean that you can abandon your ‘easy’ topic. Rather, make it difficult by infusing conflict.
